Sandrine  was born, raised and trained in France in the Beaujolais area, near Lyon. She and her family arrived in Kelowna in 2004 and opened La Boulangerie Gourmet Cafe in the Mission.

In December 2008, La Boulangerie temporarily closed to find a new location and make a slight change in concept. The bakery’s Bread Master Olivier had to return to France and the decision was made to focus on Sandrine and Pierre-Jean’s specialties– sweet for Sandrine and savoury for Pierre-Jean.

In May 2010, Sandrine French Pastry and Chocolate opened in her current location in Orchard Place.

In August 2012, an assortment of Sandrine’s cakes, pastries, macarons and chocolates are available at Urban Fare Market in Kelowna’s Mission Plaza

In August 2015, Sandrine’s chocolates are available at Alchemy Living, downtown Kelowna on Bernard Avenue

Sandrine French Pastry & Chocolate is proud to participate in many fundraising events in partnership with other Kelowna businesses including Okanagan Lavender Farm, Raudz, Waterfront Wines, Predator Ridge and others to support organisations such as Kelowna General Hospital, Farm Folk City Folk, Central Okanagan Hospice Association and the Kelowna Art Gallery.
